Pasākuma "Reinventing Media Business Forum (2 day event)" organizators: SIA STOCKHOLM SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS IN RIGA
 
Boutique, two-day media business event in the heart of Riga that serves as a meeting space for media professionals — managers, innovators, digital experts as well as editors and content writers. The aim of the forum is to bring the media business community together to share, create, and collaborate. Here, we will exchange the latest professional knowledge that will help discover hidden opportunities in the ever-changing media business world.

This year, we aim to make the forum even more interactive and engaging. With parallel workshops, more time allocated for Q&A sessions, and active audience involvement in discussions, we hope to facilitate even more knowledge and experience sharing than last year.

The two days will be split into three blocks:

Change from within: During this part of the day, we will cover better and more efficient workflows, team management, as well as hear inspiring turnaround stories. 
Reaching out: During the second part, we will discuss audience engagement and growth, subscription models, advertising, new formats, and other methods of reaching and retaining your audience.
AI and technology: On the closing day of the forum, we will focus on generative AI tools, techniques, and implementation strategies into everyday workflows for newsrooms with limited resources. In addition to hearing about inspiring ppossibilities, practical workshops will be offered to provide hands-on knowledge of the most helpful tools.
 
We are proud to announce that Zoë Murphy @ New York Times Audio and David Caswell, who is a founder at StoryFlow  — a company that designs strategic projects for applying Large Language Models and Generative AI to news and media — will be joining is in October. Detailed programme and speakers are to be confirmed very soon.
 
The forum is organised by The Centre for Media Studies at Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
