On May 25th, the leader of one of the most uncompromising underground groups from Kazahstan, "Adaptatsiya" Yermen Anti, will once again perform in Riga. Over his 32-year career, he has released 15 studio albums and over a hundred compositions, many of which have become iconic protest songs. The artist's touring geography covers around 150 cities in 15 countries around the world. Yermen's lyrics represent the real poetry of today, the voices of the streets and information flows, the agony of post-modernism, and anarchy in its purest form. Yermen's songs are a symbol of freedom in the broadest sense of the word. They are a message to everyone living on the planet, to people of goodwill and common sense, erasing language barriers and formal boundaries. Yermen Anti is the voice of conscience, mixed with furious energy and conviction, expressing pure and powerful protest, a clot of living energy, sharp, harsh, and angry.
