Did you know that Sting’s real name is Gordon Sumner? His legendary nickname came from a black-and-yellow striped sweater that made him look like a bee — and “Sting” was born. From the early days with The Police to his solo career, he boldly fused rock, jazz, pop and world influences, creating songs with melodic power and lyrical depth.
On 11 October, the quartet will honor Sting’s legacy with a performance of his most iconic songs, staying close to the original spirit while adding a fresh touch.
