On 12 December, young jazz musicians will take the MASA jazz club stage with a program dedicated to the unforgettable Nina Simone.
A pianist, singer, composer, and civil rights activist, Simone became one of the most influential and distinctive figures of the 20th century. Her music blends jazz, soul, blues, and classical elements, while her voice deep, powerful, and instantly recognizable has become a symbol of artistic integrity.
This evening will feature her most iconic inspiring songs, performed with respect for the original sound and a subtle contemporary touch.
