Event "Tribute to Cannonball Adderley | Milana Maksimova Quintet" organizer: MASA studija SIA
On April 24, MASA Jazz Club will host a tribute to the legendary saxophonist Cannonball Adderley, performed by the Milana Maksimova Quintet.
Cannonball Adderley was one of the brightest musicians of the hard-bop era, known for expressive melodies, a strong blues feel, and a powerful groove. His music combined the freedom of jazz improvisation with soul and gospel influences, creating a lively and expressive musical language.
The concert will feature interpretations of Cannonball Adderley’s compositions by the quintet, preserving the original style while giving them a contemporary sound.
