PEOPLE WATCHING. PLAY DEAD
(Canada)
Set in a space filled with everyday objects and fragments of forgotten memories, Play Dead by People Watching explores the strange, fragile and often hilarious ways we behave as human beings.
Through movement, physicality and striking visual imagery, the performance unfolds into a surreal reflection on the familiar. With warmth, wit and a keen eye for detail, it invites us to look at the people around us – and at ourselves – from a fresh perspective.
Play Dead resists routine. It searches for wonder in the ordinary, allowing everyday moments to shimmer with unexpected beauty. It is a celebration of life lived fully, of being together in the present, and of dancing every last second of the final song at the party.
