Aesthetics of dying, family as a unit of care and the last vital breath in Kashi, India’s sacred city.
Reflecting upon director’s work with families who make a pilgrimage to Kashi, this research examines audiovisual ethnography as a shared ontological approach to researching and understanding the imaginative lifeworlds family members inhabit while waiting, confronting and performing the dying process of their parent at Kashi Labh Mukti Bhawan (a local salvation home).

With as much hope as doubt, Fabian and Lisa travel on a journey that will change their worldview.
In the small village of Abadiânia in Brazil lives John of God, know as one of the world's leading healers. The two friends Lisa and Fabian have one thing in common, they both have an incurable chronic disease. Fabian has rheumatism since childhood and Lisa was diagnosed with MS at the age of 20. Lisa is tired of just accepting her illness and is dreaming of a change. When she comes in contact with a woman who arranges trips to the Miracle Man, she sees it as an opportunity to be cured. Fabian is not as convinced, but allows himself to be persuaded. But is the Miracle Man the saviour everyone is talking about, and do they need to believe to be healed?
