Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2018
At the beginning of March, the first Pullman Open Chess Championship will take place in the Old Town.
Every chess player can apply for the tournament!

- Goals and objectives
To popularize the chess in Latvia and to increase the skill of players, to find out the strongest chess players.
- Competition management

- Time, place, participants, tournament system and rules of the competition
The championship will take place: Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel (Jekab street 24, Riga)
Rapid Chess Championship: 03.03.2018. The first round starts at 12:00 (Registration from 11:00)
Swiss system, 9 rounds, time control 10 minutes per game +5 seconds per turn, starting from the first. FIDE rating calculation.
Blitz Chess Championship: 04.03, 2018. The first round starts at 12:00 (Registration from 11:00)
Swiss system, 11 rounds, time control 5 minutes per game + 3 seconds per turn, starting from the first. FIDE rating calculation.
- Applications and fees
The application must be submitted by e-mail: alberts.cimins@inbox.lv, indicating the participant's name, surname, year of birth, title, FIDE rating (if not, national), city and state.
Participation fee for one tournament is 10 EUR. (until 28th Feb)
Participation fee for one tournament from March 1st is 15 EUR
GM, WGM, IM, WIM participation in the tournament for free.

- Awards
The participants are rewarded with prizes from the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel. The prize pool depends on the number of participants.
