Event ""Northern Chapters" Album Release Concert | Sophus Bech & Ēriks Miezis Quartet" organizer: MASA studija SIA
On November 5, at the MASA jazz club, saxophonist Sophus Bech Lauesen and vibraphonist Ēriks Miezis, joined by a rhythm section from the new generation, will present their debut EP, Northern Chapters.
This year, the quartet recorded original compositions by Sophus Bech, which form the musical foundation of the EP. The concert will also feature new works by Ēriks Miezis, alongside interpretations of jazz standards. This marks the first opportunity to hear the quartet’s music live, ahead of the release of a full-length album expected next year.
