On July 31, Belgian trombonist Nathan Surquin will perform at the jazz club MASA with the quartet concert program "Ambre".
"Ambre" is a contemporary jazz concert program created as a tribute to moments of encounter — between people, cultures and life experiences. The quartet will perform Nathan Surquin’s original compositions, which combine melodic jazz, improvisation and a rich harmonic language.
Nathan Surquin is one of the most active trombonists of the new generation in the Belgian and Dutch jazz scene. His music is inspired by artists such as Shai Maestro and Avishai Cohen, creating a personal sound, the center of which is melody, openness and the expressive voice of the trombone.
Line-up:
Nathan Surquin — trombone
Krists Saržants — piano
Beāte Meirāne — double bass
Dāvids Eglītis — drums
