CULTURE TRUCKING is a tour through six Northern European countries, created by the legendary Berlin nightclub Sisypos. At the epicenter of the tour is a TRUCK that has been transformed into a multifunctional stage. From July 23 to August 28 this truck will visit 8 European cities - Cologne, Berlin, Świdwin, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and - yes, from 9 to 11 August, also Riga. The goal for this roadtrip is to reconnect communities related to alternative electronic music to whom it has been a quiet year and a half since the beginning of the pandemic.
CULTURE TRUCKING will provide an opportunity to hear and get to know musicians from different countries, as well as show the best of Riga's electronic music scene to an international audience, as the truck will be accompanied by a professional documentary crew, the tour and concerts will be broadcasted live and a documentary of each visited city will be created after the tour. On August 9 and 10, the Cultural Trucking video team will created make a documentary about Riga.
CULTURAL TRUCKING RIGA SHOWCASE WILL TAKE PLACE ON AUGUST 11, AT VISKAĻI STREET 36
How? There will be concerts and DJ performances on two stages, from 18:00 to 03:00 at night. Artists will be announced soon!
