"alejas" is a Latvian musical band that combines contemporary poetry with electronic music and acoustic sounds. The members of the band are three new-generation artists – Kirils Ēcis, Spāre Vītola, and Reinis Žodžiks. After releasing their debut album in 2019 – "Stāsti par darbu", they recently released the second album "austrālija".
The soundtrack of the album offers a wide mix of genres, which the band describes as "lyrical electronic music". "austrālija" is like a mirage in such a place where the sky rises on the ground. Something shimmers and entices us in the distance, but meanwhile deviates from us with every step we take in its direction. Maybe we're getting too close to it. Maybe we should just turn our backs and go the other way. Somewhere in the middle.
The concert will take place on the terrace of Kaņepes Kultūras centrs.
