On March 28, DPTrio will present their new album “Code of Ethics II” at MASA Jazz Club.
Saxophonist Deniss Pashkevich, together with double bassist Edvins Ozols and drummer Artis Orubs, will perform a program based on the new album Code of Ethics II. Recorded in Riga at Serviss Studio, the album is the result of collective collaboration, with all compositions written by the trio members themselves. The ensemble’s sound is defined by creative boldness, a clear musical language, and a non-commercial approach that organically blends elements of jazz, funk, rock, and avant-garde music.
Code of Ethics II continues the ideas of the previous release while marking a new stage in the trio’s development — more focused, intense, and contemporary. The concert unfolds as a live musical dialogue, where energy, space, and interaction between the musicians play a central role.
Line-up:
Deniss Pashkevich — alto saxophone
Edvins Ozols — double bass
Artis Orubs — drums
