On July 24, the Antonio Flint Trio will perform at the MASA jazz club with a concert program "Songs, Poets and Rights".
The program will feature compositions by Wayne Shorter, original works by Antonio Flint inspired by poets such as Rumi and W.H. Auden, as well as music that reflects on the modern world and society. As Nina Simone once said: "The duty of an artist is to reflect his time."
Chilean-born pianist and composer Antonio Flint combines jazz tradition, contemporary improvisation and influences from different cultures in his music. Together with double bassist Roberto Bucci and drummer Claudio Gioannini, the trio has been playing for over thirty years, performing at jazz festivals and clubs on four continents.
Line-up:
Antonio Flint — piano
Roberto Bucci — double bass
Claudio Gioannini — drums
